I bought this device for my wife to make charging her iPhone a lot easier. I was expecting that you would install the case and just place it on the mat and it would start to charge, however, this is not the case. You need to align the phone precisely before it will charge, and aligning it is as easy as landing a manned spacecraft on Mars. My wife and I have spent hours trying to get the mat to charge our phones with little or no success.

Don't waste your money!! This is a gimmick device that doesn't work as advertised.

Bought the mats, and cases for iphone and droid x. Dual pad came with cubes.
Iphone case was way too bulky and didn't stay closed well. The Mrs. refuses to use it.
The Droid case is much better, fills in a natural recess in the phone. Mini-USB nub sticks out a bit and can get caught on your pocket. Overall certainly adds weight to the phone but both our manageable.
Overall for the Droid it's slightly a net benefit and I'll keep using it.
The cubes are just stupid, virtually no value-add. I must be missing something b/c the concept is poor and I can't even imagine how to benefit from them.
