This was great buy, since these tubes used to be two times the price just a few years ago. I installed this Item into my Corvette and it pumps max bass for the size and I still have a bit of room in the hatchback. I am running it off of a 300 watt Orion Cobalt Amp. Very clean bass, the more punchy bass isnt as good on this but its great all around. You arent going to win any competition with the Bass Tube, but it does its job and brings an all around good sound to your system.

I have tried a few combos for clean and accurate bass. I have used JL 10 inch, Bazooka's own 10 inch; both in good enclosures. I have a healthy MB Quart 250 watts rms driving the bass. I keep coming back to the 10 inch tube. It is cleaner and smoother and produces good even bass. The encosures may hit harder on bass peaks, but are not as efficient and consistent over the entire spectrum of sound. The tubes take up much less space, too. I was thinking of upgrading to a 12 inch tube but the specs are pretty much the same as the 10 inch. I have mine in the trunk of an Infiniti G35x sedan which is not the most audio friendly environment at all due to all the padding in the car and the driver seat position. You will not get tht massive boom you here from the bassheads with their thousand watt amps and dual 12 inch enclosures, but it is far cleaner. Turn up the volume too high and there will be some distortion, however. Careful amp tweaking will correct much of that.

I Bought a new alpine stereo system for my pick up truck and it just didn't have enough punch. Until now. I was told to buy a bazooka because they already come with a pre amp built in. I bought an amp for mine though because I thought the cheaper one was the best deal. Well, it was without an amp. But still...wow. Very nice boost. Easy to adjust level on radio. Metallic and megadeth sound great. So does lady gaga and black eyed peas. I will buy another one for my minivan. Later. My wife will probably flip out haha. Next time I will be wise and choose the onboard amp bazooka instead. Boom boom punch punch punch. Man I love my truck again.
