I have been very satisfied with this filter and have been using it to filter our well water, which comes in with lots of sediment of all types. I need to mention though, that the product information here says this filter lasts 3 months or up to 5,000 gallons and on the package that I received, it says 6 months or up to 10,000 gallons. So that means that this product actually is much cheaper (50% cheaper, to be exact) than I thought. I hope that the vendor will correct this!

I don't know much about water filters, other than that we are really happy with this one, we love using the subscribe & save option, which reminds us to change the filter (I had to change the delivery from 3 to 6 months) and I really wanted you to know there is an error here. Everything else is correct.

    I ordered 2 robot flash drives. One of the them is fine so far ( haven't used it yet). The other one the head does not stay down, it pops up and doesn't stay down. Mainly I think it was returned by someone because it did not have the plastic film over it like the other one did.

    The little robot is made of metal, so it's heavier than your plastic USB drives. It's completely adorable though, spring arms that hold the helmet in place, and clever use of two tiny holes on the USB connecter as its eyes!
    Definitely the best and cutest USB drive I've bought.

    I was very excited to get this flashdrive- it's really super cute. However, on the first time I took the head off to use the flashdrive, the arms came off too! They had been wedged between the halves of the body, which had become loose. I put the body back together and glued the arms in, but the casing was still weak and the next day a drop onto carpet broke the whole thing and the arms, legs, head, and the flashdrive totally came apart. The actual flashdrive component had barely been secured inside the body, I had noticed it jiggling around when I tried to fit it into a computer.
    This adorable flashdrive is really cute to look at, but it isn't put together well enough to stand anything. I wouldn't recommend it.

    I purchased this french press to be the smaller version of my Bodum 8 cup french press. My reason for choosing this particular unit was price and the fact that it had no plastic components. Plastic and very hot water just do not make me comfortable these days. My Bodum has a small plastic liner/strainer in the lid. I have written to Bodum to find out what type of plastic was used, to date no reply. Anyway the La Cafetiere french press does everything a french press is suppose to. The only issue I have is that the fit and finish of the components are not even close to the Bodum unit. I guess you get what you pay for after all. We will see if it lasts as long as my plastic lined Bodum?

    I have received the belgian waffle, beanpot candle yesterday. Shipping was great and it was packed just fine.
    I love candles and have experimented with many different brands. This one is pretty sad. It doesnt burn. Even after I poured wax out to give the wick more air, it's just a tiny flickering flame fighting to stay lit.
    The fragrance is less maple more nutty/spice - which I also like but didn't order.

    I was a Barista in Germany and I am obsessed with coffee and espresso related gadgets. This is my fifth French Press. I bought two (can't remember brand names) during the three years I was in Germany and I have bought two (both were Bodum) since May when I returned to the States. I received this as a Christmas present from my mom in Germany. I have only been using this press for about a week, but there are some major design features that set this press apart from the others that I have owned in the past.

    Coffee stays hot for about an hour and warm for about an hour after that.
    The way that the bottom is angled helps to keep grounds out of your coffee.
    This press has an additional filter at the spout. I tested it by intentionally letting some grounds get into the coffee. The filter actually caught about 95% of them.
    This may sound like the wrong adjective, but the main filter is very "sturdy". If you have ever had a press with a very flimsy filter, you'll understand.
    The press is clear, which is great. I like to be able to see what I am doing.
    The size is perfect. My last few presses were smaller. My husband and I didn't even get one full cup of coffee each. Now, we each get about one cup and one half.
    I was worried that the metal handle would get hot, but this is not the case. All of the metal stays cool.
    When you actually press the coffee, the filter barely has any play. (Tip: If yours is wobbly, you may need to tighten the filter, which is removable.)
    This press looks beautiful. I used it on Christmas while my in-laws were over. I got many compliments.

    To conclude, this seems to be a wonderful press. Most presses only seem to last about six months. I will update my review in about six months, when I know how well it holds up.

    I used to have a Bodum French press, and even being careful, always managed to break the glass carafes. A clerk at a store that sells them even said she thought the company made them so thin on purpose - so that customers would have to keep buying replacements. I decided to research a new brand and ended up purchasing the Grosche Madrid. I love it! The glass seems to be thicker, and it is very well made and sturdy over all. I also think this design is a lot more attractive and certainly less common than the ones Bodum offers. The screen part that filters the grinds is very fine and fits perfectly. I am definitely a convert to Grosche.
    And on another note, even though I chose standard shipping, I received this item the very next day after I placed the order - I don't even know how that's possible!

    Sometimes pictures of some products can be a little misleading. That wasn't the case with this French press, as it's every bit as handsome as its pictures suggest. It's packaged in a beautiful box, which is very suitable for gift giving as well. The recipients will think you paid twice as much for it than you did! The press fits the chamber very well, and goes down smoothly.

    Trust me, whenever someone sees this French press at your house, they will ask you where you got it, it's that pretty. And on top of that, it works beautifully too. WHat more could you want? You'll be happy with this French press, I certainly am.

    I Just wish that they made it In a 12 oz size or a 16 oz size to make one coffee mug at a time instead of using a large press only half it's capacity. I find the right size press allows you to compress the beans better on the bottom if you use less grinds, and makes better coffee that way at the end of the day. If they ever come out with a small size in this press, I'll be sure to pick one up. until hen, I'm very happy with the Madrid press that i have!

    These are the absolute best baking sheets you will ever, ever find.

    I've had these for 18 years, since they first came out and they are fabulous.

    Stuff sticks to them, yes, and like any other sheet, you have to clean them, however, these are durable enough to put on the clean cycle in the oven and they're just like new.

    I'm going to replace them now with non-stick ones, but that is because I want non-stick at this point.

    You will love them.

    I love my new Airbake cookie sheets. I have used Airbake for years but recently got a new oven with a smaller interior so my pans no longer fit. The new "bubble" design on the bottom increases browning without requring a longer baking time.

    My husband drilled a very small hole in the underside corner of my cookie sheets. That way I could submerge the sheets in water and then just let them drip dry with the corner down. Sometimes I squeeze it a little bit to get out the majority of the water.

    I love the color of the tea kettle. But after a couple uses the cover of the spout broke off and the kettle no longer whistles.

    Was not happy with the quality of this item. The handle was not attached in the center of the pot. It looks like it was assembled by a grade school kid.

    I was thrilled to receive my kettle from Amazon really quickly - long before I expected. It was disappointing to find a small piece of paper inside the packaging telling me what would have been really good information to have to enable me to make an informed purchase. ....Like "make sure that the kettle has no water left inside. This will prevent any possibility of rust appearing"

    Also, when wiping the outside of the kettle - with a hot cloth - purple is coming off.

    I love the idea of this kettle but I wouldn't have purchased it had I known all the information.

    BTW...it took about a week to have little "almost rust" spots show up...and we tried to empty it every time.
